A Registration is a digital form that enables your patients to self-register and gain access to your YoMingo app. You can create and manage registration forms through the YoMingo Admin site.

Once a patient completes the form and clicks Submit, they will automatically receive an email containing:

  • Their unique user ID
  • A temporary password
  • Step-by-step instructions on how to log in

If you would like to see an example of the welcome email users receive, please click HERE.

This streamlined process helps ensure patients can access YoMingo quickly and easily.

Manage Registrations

Go to the Admin Dashboard and navigate to the Manage Registrations tile.

From the Registration page, you can:

  • Create new registration forms.
  • Edit existing registrations.
  • Create as many registrations as needed to meet your requirements.

For health systems with multiple locations under a single YoMingo account, you can create separate registrations for each location to streamline access and ensure accurate tracking.

Create a New Registration

To create a registration, click the +Create button in the top right corner.

General Tab

Set up your registration by completing the fields under the General tab:

Registration Name

  • Enter a name for your registration.
  • This name will appear on the registration form and help patients identify it.

Registration Custom Tags

  • Select tags to associate with the learner’s profile.
  • Tags must first be created under the Manage Tags tile before they will appear in this list.

Registration Message

  • This message will display at the top of your registration form. Use it to provide helpful instructions. For example:

Welcome to YoMingo! To get started, complete the registration form below, then check your email inbox for an invitation (from noreply@yomingo.com) with your unique login credentials. Don't see the email in your inbox? Check your junk/spam folder.

Email Message

  • This message will be included in the auto-generated email sent to learners after they register.
  • We recommend adding contact information (e.g., email or phone number) for learners to use if they have questions.

Content Access Expiration

  • Specify how long learners will have access to your content after registering.
  • Unlimited access is recommended for most use cases.

Categorizations

  • Assign a high-level designation, such as Maternity, to learners registering through this form.
  • The Maternity categorization enables the Milestones section on the learner side and auto-populates the Due Date/Delivery Date question on the registration form.

Content Tab

Permission Content

  • Select the About Us section(s) and content categories you want learners registering through this link to access.
  • Use the Activate All button to quickly enable all content categories if needed.

Any learner who registers through this registration will automatically be granted access to the categories you mark as active, ensuring they receive the appropriate resources and information.

Questions Tab

The Questions tab allows you to customize up to three additional questions on the registration form.

The form will automatically ask: first name, last name, email, location (if applicable) and due date/delivery date (if Maternity categorization is checked).

Adding Custom Questions:

  1. Click +Add Question.
  2. Enter your question in the text field.
  3. Select a question type:
  4. If using Radio Button or Drop-Down, type out each answer choice and, if applicable, assign a tag to the answer. (Tags must be created in advance to appear here.)
  5. Mark the question as Required if you want it to be mandatory for completion.
  6. Repeat the process to add up to three custom questions.

Sample Registration Questions:

  • Who is your OB/GYN?
  • Have you pre-registered at <hospital name>?
  • Would you like to receive emails, social media or other notifications related to pregnancy resources from <hospital name>?
  • Is this your first baby?
  • Are you planning on breastfeeding?
  • Do you have a doctor and car seat for your baby?
  • What is your home zip code?
  • How did you hear about YoMingo?

Save Your Registration Form

Once you’ve completed creating your registration form, click SAVE.

  • A unique URL will be generated at the top of the page.
  • Copy this link to share or embed it wherever needed.
  • Click the box/arrow icon next to the URL to open the link and preview your registration form.

This ensures you can review the form and confirm it’s ready for use.

Creating a QR Code for Your Registration Link

If you’d like to generate a QR code for your registration link to use on flyers, posters, or other materials, you can easily do so using an online QR code generator.

For example, you can use QR Code Generator. Simply paste your registration link into the generator and download the QR code for your materials.

This is a convenient way to make accessing your registration form even easier!

Edit a Registration

To edit a current registration, click Edit next to the registration.

The Edit Registration page will then open, where you will have the option to make changes to your registration. You can make any changes necessary. All changes except Registration Name will not change your current link. If you change your Registration Name, this action will change your URL.

Be sure to click Save after changes are made.
